Dear Concerned Citizens,

I am sure you all mean well when you say, "oh you should juice," or "you know if you change your diet you will be better....." or " I hear such and such cures lupus."

I mean really if I could cure lupus with a change of diet or with a juiced drink or by eating a bucket of tacks and nails... Don't you think I would have done it 10 years ago when I was diagnosed?

I've juiced....I've changed my diet...I've used unconventional methods to put this ailment called lupus at bay and try to cure it. Nope it's still here. 

I just want to tell you, When people don't know the depth of what lupus does to a person they should just stay quiet. You should just stop giving unsolicited advice without first doing your homework and learning about the disease. I love the concern but honestly the advice is so offensive and annoying.
