Good Food Bags Provided by Lupus In Color

Good Food Bags
A supplement grocery program

Provided by Lupus In Color

Good Food Bags is a program to serve communities at risk of hunger during the month. The supplemental groceries are geared to help ensure the most vulnerable in the community won't miss meals and get enough of the nutritious food they need.

Good Food Bags carefully plans selection of nutritious food items to provide, FOR FREE, to members of communities. Focusing specifically on those diagnosed with chronic illnesses. Monetary and physical donations are received and goods are purchased and donated to those in need.

Food is a part of our lives every single day. We rely on it for nourishment. Eating a healthy, balanced diet provides nutrients to your body. These nutrients give you energy and keep your heart beating, your brain active, and your muscles working. Healthy foods can help people that have chronic illness to feel better and have less incidents of unhealthy living. Lupus In Color is attempting to assist others to achieve a balance with the foods they eat.

Won't you help by working with us?

It’s one thing to think “that’s a good idea.” It’s another thing to turn the idea into action. Make a pledge to donate a grocery bag full of wholesome food to the Lupus In Color Good Food Bags program.

Our first Good Food Bags distribution is November 15, 2014 at the Lupus In Color Support Group meeting.
