Sometimes you get tired of being sick, of hurting, of the fatigue... Sick of the loneliness of being sick with no one to talk to that understands and can tell you you can get through it. People will say,"oh you can talk to God. He is all you need." We know that, that's a given. But the reality is, as a person who fights a daily struggle it is important to be able to release the pain and the hurt and the depression that can come with having lupus. The reality is after you have talked to God or your Higher Power you have to look for the people placed to assist you in your release. Sometimes it will be immediate, intimate and personal. Someone there as a shoulder to cry on, a hug to give , a listening ear. Other times it will be in the distance someone that says something over the internet, a phone call or a word you read in the paper. In some way it will come, that opportunity to release the pain through your tears, your screams, your fits of anger, the battle with feeling worthy of life itself. It has to come for you to move on and become stronger, but you have to see it and use it all. Sometimes we overlook the opportunity to release focusing so diligently on the pain. Take the time to release. I know you're tired of crying, tired of screaming, tired of being angry with your body, angry with life, but that release will help bring you back to the reality that you are at stronger than lupus. That release will help you get to your next moment. It's okay to release, but don't stay there. Make sure you release, take a deep breath, clear your head, cleanse your heart and move on.
